SCHOLARSHIP

I believe the border between reflective teaching practice and systematic inquiry is vanishingly thin and I am committed to scholarship that can inform and enhance the practice of music educators at the secondary and tertiary levels. My research focuses primarily on the pedagogy of songwriting, with specific interest in the heuristic practices of professional songwriters. Other interests include music teacher identity and music education philosophy. See below for more information about my scholarly projects and resources from conference presentations.
(Note: See my CV for a full listing of projects, presentations, and publications.)
